Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

Provides assistance with energy bills to eligible low-income households through regular or crisis assistance. Households must have a total household income below 125% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. To qualify for crisis assistance, the low-income family must have a cut off notice and either an elderly or disabled member, or a child under 12 months of age. This program has an intake month for each county and continues to run throughout the year. Eligible households that cannot be serviced due to a lack of funding are placed on a waiting list until the end of our fiscal year. Interested households should contact their local Community Service Center to fill out an application or click the links below to complete one now.
