USDA COMMODITIES
The Commodity Program is responsible for receiving, storing and distributing USDA Tennessee Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) available foods to low-income families in Southwest Tennessee. To qualify, the income level must fall under 185% of the poverty scale. A household may also qualify based upon their participation in any of the following programs: TANF, SSI, Food Stamps, Tenn Care, Public Housing or the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. This project is funded under a grant contract with the State of Tennessee. Interested applicants should contact their local Community Service Center.
